Trader Joe’s Breakfast Sandwich

INGREDIENTS

  • Gluten free English muffins
  • Chicken breakfast sausage patties
  • American cheese slices (I used the dairy free cheddar style option at TJ’s)
  • Eggs
  • Garlic powder and salt

DIRECTIONS

  • Begin to toast both halves of the English muffin in a toaster oven
  • Once halfway toasted, take out top, add slice of cheese to bottom half and continue to toast until cheese is soft/melted and then take out
  • Heat chicken patty in toaster oven
  • Cook egg in a small egg pan (break yolk and mix). Top with salt and garlic powder
  • Place cooked egg on bottom half with cheese, place chicken patty on top of egg, and add top half of English muffin
  • Place entire sandwich in toaster oven and cook for 1-2 minutes or until golden brown
  • Eat right away or wrap in a napkin and aluminum foil for later

Note: the English muffins can get very golden brown depending on how toasted you want them.
