Salmon Sashimi
INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 pound sushi grade salmon
- Chives, cut into length of salmon pieces
- Ginger, peel using a peeler, and then cut peels into thin matchstick sizes
- Minced garlic
- 2 Tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 Tablespoons lemon juice
- 6 Tablespoons olive oil
- 2 Tablespoons sesame oil
DIRECTIONS
- Rinse and pat dry salmon
- Using a sharp knife, cut off salmon skin, and then cut salmon into almost paper thin sashimi pieces–arrange and fan out on a plate
- Place a piece of ginger and chive on each piece of salmon
- Sprinkle minced garlic over salmon
- Mix lemon juice and soy sauce, pour over salmon
- Heat olive oil and sesame oil in a saucepan until very very hot
- Pour over sashimi
- Enjoy!
Note: make sure your salmon is sushi grade! Also, this dish is addictive 🙂
