Air-Fried Tofu
- 1 block of very firm tofu (Publix Greenwise is my favorite)
- 1 teaspoon low sodium soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 4-5 tablespoons corn starch
Directions
- Mix all dry ingredients together
- Cut tofu into 1 inch squares
- Gently add soy sauce and mix together without crumbling tofu
- Gently stir in dry ingredients
- Sprinkle a little extra cornstarch over all of the tofu
- Set air-fryer to 400F degrees for 18-20 minutes
- Once pre-heated, and tofu and cook
- When the tofu is darker and dryer, it should be done–you can taste to see
Tip
I don’t remember how I made the sauce in the photo, but any sweet and sour sauce will work well for dipping
