Baked Argentinian Red Shrimp
INGREDIENTS
- 1 pound Argentinian red shrimp, peeled, deveined, & dried with a paper towel
- Extra virgin olive oil–it’s best to buy olive oil sourced from one country/region
- Garlic, minced
- Parsley, minced
- Old Bay seasoning, roughly a teaspoon–you don’t want to overpower the flavor of the shrimp
- Salt, to taste
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat oven to 375F degrees
- Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and lightly grease
- In a bowl, toss shrimp in olive until coated
- Add remaining ingredients and toss shrimp again until evenly coated
- Spread shrimp out on pan
- Bake shrimp for about 10-15 minutes or until fully cooked/firm
- Serve with rice or any side, enjoy!
Note: Argentinian red shrimp taste amazing–very similar to a rich lobster taste. I also love cooking them in a sauté pan with butter, garlic and lemon, the rich flavor makes an amazing sauce to go over pasta.
