Baked Argentinian Red Shrimp

Baked Argentinian Red Shrimp

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 pound Argentinian red shrimp, peeled, deveined, & dried with a paper towel
  • Extra virgin olive oil–it’s best to buy olive oil sourced from one country/region
  • Garlic, minced
  • Parsley, minced
  • Old Bay seasoning, roughly a teaspoon–you don’t want to overpower the flavor of the shrimp
  • Salt, to taste

DIRECTIONS

  • Preheat oven to 375F degrees
  • Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and lightly grease
  • In a bowl, toss shrimp in olive until coated
  • Add remaining ingredients and toss shrimp again until evenly coated
  • Spread shrimp out on pan
  • Bake shrimp for about 10-15 minutes or until fully cooked/firm
  • Serve with rice or any side, enjoy!

Note: Argentinian red shrimp taste amazing–very similar to a rich lobster taste. I also love cooking them in a sauté pan with butter, garlic and lemon, the rich flavor makes an amazing sauce to go over pasta.
